The Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI) has sponsored the International Achievement Awards, a competition designed to recognize outstanding projects in the specialty fabrics industry, for more than 57 years. The organization is a nonprofit trade association whose more than 2,000 member companies represent the international specialty fabrics marketplace. Member companies range in size from one-person shops to multinational corporations. Additionally, members' products span the entire spectrum of the specialty fabrics industry, from fiber and fabric suppliers to manufacturers of end products, equipment and hardware. The IFAI has several divisions, such as the Automotive Materials Association, Geosynthetic Materials Association, Inflatable Recreational Products Division, Marine Fabricators Association, Lightweight Structures Association, Tent Rental Division and Truck Cover & Tarp Association. The IFAI s headquarters is based in Roseville, Minn.
