Marytere has a master's degree in family psychology and has spent nearly 20 years providing early childhood stimulation for children, as well as professional development for teachers. She is also the author of Smart Nutrition, a dietary guide for families.

A consultant to more than 800 families, Marytere has extensive experience in the cognitive development of children.
