Intercommunity Action Inc - Counseling Services

Established in 1969 and headquartered in Philadelphia, Intercommunity Action is a community-based, private, nonprofit health and human services agency. It offers a wide range of programs for residents of the Andorra, Roxborough, Manayunk, Wissahickon, East Falls and Nicetown neighborhoods of Northwest Philadelphia. The center operates through its service divisions, including aging, developmental disabilities, and behavioral health services. Its behavioral health services division provides mental health case management, children's outpatient counseling, community services, adult partial hospitalization program and children's behavioral health services. It also offers alcohol and drug abuse program, counseling and crisis intervention services, forensic intensive recovery, and community hospital integration programs, sign language interpreting, and residential programs. The center s developmental disabilities division provides vocational habilitation program, intermediate care facilities, community homes services, family living programs, adult developmental training services and employment services programs.
