Intermountain Rigging and HeavyHaul is formed after the merger between the former Intermountain Rigging and Transfer, and Savage Industries' Heavy Haul division in 1997. The company offers rigging, millwright, heavy transportation, warehousing, packaging, and shipping services to a variety of customers in the intermountain region and throughout the United States. It provides heavy hauling services for moving buildings, power transformers, steam drums, water tanks, large boats, trains, cranes and machinery. The company is experienced in relocating plants in a variety of industries, including printing, paper and paperboard products, plastics manufacturing, packaging, defense manufacturing, food processing, metalworking of all kinds, and mining and medical products. The firm is a member of the Specialized Carriers and Rigging Association. Intermountain Rigging and HeavyHaul operates a more than 10-acre facility, and is located in Salt Lake City.
