Mr. Simancas founded ITA LLC in 2008 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He has been an interpreter and a translator in the EU and the US since 1989. He holds a Certified Court Interpreter accreditation from the AOC since 2007. Mr. Simancas became a Certified Medical interpreter with the National Board of Certification for Medical Interpreters in 2012, bringing to the state of Arkansas in 2013, the 40 hours course "Bridging The Gap for Medical Interpreters"; a pioneer initiative developed by the Cross Cultural Health Care Program in Seattle, WA, and a highly valued Intensive Training Program for Medical Interpreters, recognized and offered worldwide. In 2015, ITA LLC is offering, in partnership with Ms. Maria Schwieter, author of "Medical Communications Ambassadors", the 80 hours Medical Interpreter Course for the Spanish/English Medical Interpreter. MCA is the first training course to ever meet the standards of IMIA.
