Founded in 1956, Isle of Hope Elementary School provides learning experiences for students in pre-kindergarten through grade five. It maintains a keyboarding and math laboratory and chess classroom. The school conducts classes in French and Spanish. It offers an accelerated reader program that is used to monitor and guide reading practices and help students in improving reading abilities. Isle of Hope Elementary School also supports activities, such as band, art, music and chorus. It provides opportunities to participate in the National Junior Beta Club. The school has a parent-teacher association that works for the overall development of the school. It additionally operates a student council. Isle of Hope Elementary School is administered by the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System, which operates through human resources and finance departments.
