Jack Cawthon started Jack's Bar-B-Que on the corner of Broadway and 1st Avenue in a tiny concrete block building. A man of taste and multi-talents, Jack Cawthon first began in the food service business as Cawthon's Caterer, Inc. in 1976. Jack renovated the building and added a patio overlooking Riverfront Park and Broadway.
