Jackson Academy is an independent, nonsectarian school founded in 1959. It is coeducational, private, day school with more than 1,500 students enrolled in preschool through grade 12. It offers a college preparatory academic program with extracurricular and co-curricular opportunities. Its preschool offers classes in reading, writing, music and art. Its elementary school offers classes from one through grade six and has computer labs.
