The Department of Health Policy, formerly known as the Office of Health Policy, is an academic research, educational and consulting group that specializes in outcomes and health services research and customized training programs. Established in 1990, the Department of Health Policy is one of the departments of Jefferson Medical College, which provides a range of health education and research programs. The department has a staff of professional educators and trainers, health services researchers, medical writers, research fellows and operations management specialists. Its Senior Scholars program provides researchers, educators, industry professionals and policy makers with an opportunity to collaborate with department s activities, such as business development, teaching, research, publication, and the mentoring and training of fellows. The Department of Health Policy is located in Philadelphia.
