John B. Dey Elementary School, located in Virginia Beach, Va., is a coeducational institution that teaches students in kindergarten through fifth grade. The school has a staff of more than 65 full-time certified teachers and paraprofessionals that includes guidance counselors, reading professionals, media specialists, computer teachers, special and physical education instructors, and art and music professionals. It organizes a variety of cocurricular activities, such as picture days, fall festivals, science fairs, talent shows, theatrical concerts and National School Bus Safety Weeks.
