Located in Newark, Del., Downes Elementary School serves students in kindergarten through fifth grade. The school s facilities include a library and media center, computer laboratory, gymnasium, gifted and talented education and regular classrooms, locker rooms, and remedial reading, math, art and music rooms. In addition, it has a cafeteria, playground, track, special education and primary project rooms, and psychologist's and social workers' offices.
