Community Health Centers, also known as CHC, is a private, nonprofit organization that provides preventative medical and pharmaceutical services in more than five locations throughout central Florida. Incorporated in 1972, it is an ambulatory health care provider in Florida. The organization maintains a staff of more than 200 individuals. Community Health Centers specializes in the areas of family practice, internal medicine, and vision and hearing screening. It also offers dentistry, pharmacy, laboratory and X-ray solutions. The organization is accredited by The Joint Commission. Community Health Centers additionally provides treatment options for urinary tract infections and sexually transmitted diseases. It conducts physical and prostate examinations. The organization also offers community education programs.
