Judo is the sport version of ju-jitsu, which many believe is the mother art of many other martial arts. Learn both the sport of Olympic-style judo and the street-effective skills of ju-jitsu. Judo skills include lightning-quick throws and counter throws, immobilizing-capture hold downs, escapes and reversals, and the super-effective submissions of arm bars, leg locks, and strangles. Because knowledge, skill, and timing are the essential ingredients for success, you don’t need to be physically gifted to be a winner.
