I became fascinated with photography early on while growing up just outside of Cleveland. I soon found myself getting into trouble for hopping the bus to take pictures downtown without my parents permission. At this time I was also cultivating a passion for acting and directing, for which I moved to New York City in 2002. While pursuing a career in theatre and film, I found myself always happening to wind up behind a camera, whether to photograph performances, take headshots, or film other students during soap-opera class. Eventually my passion for photography won out; and I have been working as a professional photographer ever since. My work has taken me around the country as well as to the UAE, Oman, Egypt, India, and Mexico. I was named one of the top five wedding photographers in Dubai by Emirates Bride Magazine. Currently, I live in Williamsburg Brooklyn with my husband Sam and photograph fashion, portraits, and weddings, and change my hair color every few months :)
