More about Katherine E. Garrett, DDS, PA: Dr. Katherine Garrett received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the prestigious University of North Carolina School of Dentistry in 1999. Following graduation, Dr. Garrett began her career as an associate dentist in Cary, N.C., before joining one of the world’s leading dental manufacturers, Ivoclar Vivadent in Amherst, N.Y., in 2000. At Ivoclar Vivadent, Dr. Garrett researched esthetic materials coming to market and conducted professional education and seminars for dentists on using products in veneers, all-ceramic crowns, and composite restorations. She was also involved in research and education regarding competitive products in dentistry. With a desire to focus on patient care, Dr. Garrett returned to her family roots in Raleigh, N.C. in 2004 to open her new practice. Dr. Garrett is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Women Dentists, and the N.C. Dental Society. Continuing dental education is a focus for Dr. Garrett in order to provide optimal dental care for her patients. Currently, Dr. Garrett and her husband reside in North Raleigh and are an integral part of the community.
