In addition to the standard nursing duties mentioned, our nurses work as case managers for clients confined to the home due to permanent or temporary accident, ailment or injury. They are trained to work closely with the physician and family members to obtain the best optimal outcome. The case management and overall monitoring of the client&rsquos condition enhances our team effort to get the client to their maximum potential. Coordination of CARE by a nurse case manager is a viable and critical element in the outstanding care each client needs and deserves through I-CARE, Inc.® Our nurses also are available to meet clients and family members to explore options for care beyond the hospital or facility stay. Personal Care Assistance-Our licensed nurse aides are educated and trained in geriatric care. The Commonwealth of Virginia requires all work done by nurse aides in a home care setting must be supervised by a nurse every 60-90 days to ensure each client is receiving the best quality care.
