Special order requests may be considered. Kelly’s Medical Equipment & Supply in the Quad Cities sells and rents CPAP and BiPAP machines to overcome the symptoms of Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). Our professional fitters are trained to consult with the customer in a review of their diagnostic test of OSA, whether it is in a sleep lab or an ambulatory test in the home.We can set up the CPAP/BiPAP in the customer’s home or in the office, whichever is most appropriate for the customer. The staff is highly regarded by physicians for our capability to fit the correct mask to the customer. The extra effort we take in the beginning to make sure the mask is appropriate creates a higher likelihood the customer will have a positive experience in the doctor’s treatment of OSA. The “panicky” feeling or the pressure may be too low creating a feeling of suffocation. Customers can also feel claustrophobic if the mask is too confining. There are many skills to learn in fitting a CPAP mask and Kelly’s staff has developed the methods to properly fit the face to the mask versus the mask to the face. Kelly’s also has a unique product called the WatchPat. It is an ambulatory testing device that can be used to test for Obstructive Sleep Apnea in your home or vehicle. As compared to a lab study, it is documented to be 96% accurate in identifying OSA and the degree of severity. The FDA has approved the WatchPat for OSA testing. The test is approved for in-home use by many insurance companies, including Medicare and Medicaid when used as a follow-up test while on CPAP/BiPAP treatment.We also accept certified checks and money orders for your convenience.
