Kenwal Day Camp is located on 20 acres of greenery in Melville, N.Y. The camp offers numerous activities, including swimming, batting cages, karate, boating, music, gymnastics, archery, softball, drama, aerobics, volleyball, mini-golf and mountain biking. The camp offers programs for children of all ages, including teens and preschoolers. Preschoolers participate in arts and crafts, tumbling, mini-golf, circle games, go karts, parachute play and karate along with many sports activities tailored to meet their ability. Activities are rotated and periods are shortened to meet the requirements of the younger campers. Camp counselors teach all Kenwal activities, other than major sports. The camp was founded in 1957.
