"Kenzo" means the good place. And Kenzo is the good place! From the first "Irrashaimase"(Welcome) to the "Arigato"(Thank you) as you leave Kenzo our goal is for you to enjoy tasty food in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Kenzo opened in 2007 and from the planning stages onward, owner, Hena Kimura Kent wanted an attractive restruant where folks could enjoy quality service while dining on some of the finest Asian food outside of Asia.-Fresh fish is delivered every other day, brought in from the Bay area. But, it's not all "raw fish" even though Kenzo is a sushi restruant. Like many of the finer places to dine in Tokyo or Osaka, Japan, Kenzo offers tasty terriyaki chicken, steak, etc. and even offers "boogogi"(Korean Bar B Q) and "kalbi"(Korean style Bar B Q ribs.) Tokyo and Osaka have become two of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world so Hena Kimura Kent, inspired by both her Japanese and Korean ancestry has brought the tastiest of dishes here to her adopted home Yuba City, California, USA.
