Founded in 1938, Kern Schools Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit, full-service financial institution. The credit union has more than 140,000 members, a majority of whom work for either Kern County Public Schools or one of the credit union s sponsor employee groups (SEG). It is based in Bakersfield, Calif., and operates branch offices in Delano, Ridgecrest and Tehachapi, Calif.
