Daniel C. Kline, M.D. was born and raised in East Lyme, Connecticut. He graduated with high honors from Harvard University and obtained his medical degree with honors from Yale University School of Medicine. He received his training in ophthalmology at the Moran Eye Center at the University of Utah, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Kline has published many peer-reviewed articles and has given numerous presentations at ophthalmology meetings nationwide. Dr. Kline is a board certified ophthalmologist, a diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, the California Medical Association, the Orange County Medical Association and the Orange County Society of Ophthalmology. He serves on the medical staff of Hoag Memorial Presbyterian Hospital and St. Joseph Hospital of Orange. Dr. Kline is a recipient of The Patient's Choice Award in 2009 and 2010. He was the highest rated ophthalmologist in the Greater Newport Physicians Medical Group by doctors and patients in 2009.
