This building opened in 1928 and was named the North End Improvement Club. It served as a mainstay for the Saint Paul community for 65 years hosting a variety of events. In 1993, a local church group bought the building for their centralized activities. By 2002, the church felt that it was no longer viable for their needs, and decided to sell.
The new owner felt that it was necessary to once again use the building as it was originally intended. It would once again serve as a community anchor for the North End of Saint Paul, and as an event center for the entire Twin City Metro area.
Architects and contractors were hired to completely renovate the entire structure from top to bottom. Over the next two years, the building was overhauled and redesigned at a cost of $500,000.00.
