Since 1990, Kompany Kids Child Development Centers has been serving six weeks to prekindergarten children. Based in Atlanta, Ga., the center offers several academic programs emphasizes the process of active learning and encourages children to initiate their own learning experiences with the guidance of supportive adults. It also provides an infant-toddler curriculum based on the principle that children learn best through direct, hands-on experiences with people, objects, events and ideas. Its preschool component includes assessment tools to measure teaching behaviors and child progress.
