The Korean Women's Association offers a variety of services to enhance the quality of life for Asian Americans and other minority citizens in the Northwest. Established in 1972, it is a private, nonprofit organization that serves Lewis, Mason, Clallam, Jefferson, Grays Harbor, Cowlitz, Clark and Pacific counties in Washington. The organization provides referral and networking services for clients throughout the state. It offers the Asian-Pacific Senior Day Care Program, which provides care and support services for individuals suffering from Alzheimer s disease and other dementia-related disorders. The Korean Women's Association also offers peer mentoring and health promotion screening programs. The organization provides a range of community health care outreach services. In addition, it offers interpretation and translation services to non-English speaking clients.
