KPFF Consulting Engineers is a consulting engineering firm that specializes in offering support services on civil and structural engineering projects. The Portland, Ore., office is divided into structural and civil divisions that perform projects in the entertainment, retail, office building, industrial, laboratory, health care, residential and education markets. The company was founded in 1960 in Seattle as Albert Kelly and Associates. It was later renamed Kelly, Pittelko, Fritz and Forssen and eventually became KPFF in 1976. The company maintains additional offices in Seattle and Tacoma, Wash., Eugene, Ore., Sacramento, San Francisco, Pasadena, Los Angeles and Long Beach, Calif., Phoenix, Denver and St. Louis.
