Its headquarters are in Cincinnati, Ohio, where the company was founded in 1883 by Barney Kroger. Kroger spans many states with store formats that include grocery and multi-department stores, convenience stores and mall jewelry stores. Dillon has been the chief executive officer of Kroger for more than three years. He has been with the supermarket giant for over 30 years. Dillon earned a BS degree from the University of Kansas, and a JD degree from Southern Methodist University. The Alpharetta, Ga., store is one of many Kroger stores in the United States.
