The company began with a passion for roofing and structural systems when brothers John and Stephen Krupnik started J&S Roofing in 1951. In 1957, the company name was changed and incorporated to Krupnik Brothers, Inc Soon, Krupnik Brothers, Inc pushed forward with their vision of becoming one of the most reliable and trusted roofing companies in Maryland. The company initially began in the residential roofing business but now handles about 70% commercial work and 30% residential. Current President Stephen Krupnik served as the President for the Associated Roofing Contractors of Maryland ( ARCOM ) which merged with the Washington Area Roofing Contractors Association ( WARCA ) to form the Mid Atlantic Roofing Contractors Association ( MARCA ). Today, CEO and incumbent President of Krupnik Brothers, Howard Willis, serves as President of MARCA. President Stephen Krupnik served two consecutive terms as a Director of the National Roofing Contractors Association ( NRCA ). Currently, CEO, Howard Willis presides as a NRCA Director. Krupnik COO, Matthew Willis is a recent graduate of the NRCA Future Executives Institute. Krupnik Brothers Inc also holds a membership with the Associated Builders and Contractors ( ABC ).
