The Lackawanna City School District imparts academic instruction. Based in Lackawanna, N.Y., the district comprises of Lackawanna High School, Lackawanna Middle School, Martin Road Elementary School and Truman Elementary School. The Lackawanna City School District institutions engage in imparting a variety of student programs as well as Parent and Community Involvement. It also conducts the Lackawanna Teacher Resource and Training Program. The Lackawanna Board of Education governs the schools, implements District educational policies and provides leadership.
