Our furniture is constructed in Madison, Wisconsin. Owners Pete Manley and Kevin Pomeroy looked at available patio furniture, and found that high-quality, traditional wood construction was hard to find. Much foreign made, tropical hardwood products, sometimes at very high prices, was for sale at specialty and furniture stores. Also some poorly built and poorly designed pieces, often with the Made in China label, so common in the home centers, could be purchased cheaply. We thought that we could do better. We built some chairs, redesigning with each new generation, finding the right balance between valued tradition and modern utility. We decided that unlike most other companies, we would treat our chairs with a quality water seal, adding years of use with minimal maintenance. We brought in good friend Peter Wright, who has production and design experience, and an unforgiving eye for quality and detail. We like the results, and hope that you will too.
