GUIDANCE AND ADVISING
The staff at Lamson College makes every effort to maintain close communication with its students. Students have access to faculty and administrative staff for both vocational and academic advising.
Students experiencing personal problems, which require professional counseling, will be referred to the appropriate agencies.
STUDENT EMPLOYMENT
The training schedule at Lamson College can accommodate most working students. The Placement department will assist students in obtaining part-time or full-time employment to help them meet their living expenses during their school training. These jobs are usually not in the field for which the student is being trained. Positions are generally in food service, custodial work, merchandising and
general labor.
TUTORING
The Director of Education schedules tutoring in various courses, as it is needed by students. To obtain help, contact the Director of Education for a schedule. Our goal is to ensure that you graduate. We will do everything we can to see that happen.
