REA Contracting is a leading highway, paving and bridge contractor in the Southeastern United States. With offices in Charlotte and Raleigh, N.C., and Columbia and Beaufort, S.C., REA mainly does public and commercial work in those two states. The company is divided into the public division, which performs design/build projects for the North Carolina and South Carolina transportation departments; the commercial division, which performs full site development and paving projects; the structures division, which specializes in bridges, dams and foundations for commercial buildings; and the manufacturing division, which produces hot-mix asphalt.
