Blumenthal Cancer Center is located within Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, N.C. The center serves as the regional referral center for western North Carolina, and treats patients each year from South Carolina and the southeastern United States. Communities beyond Charlotte are served by Blumenthal Cancer Center through partnerships with other providers, such as Blumenthal Cancer Center at Cleveland Regional Medical Center in Shelby, N.C. The center offers various treatment services, including gynecologic oncology, pediatric oncology, stem cell transplant, immunotherapy, urology, prostate and renal cancers, melanoma, head and neck cancers, cancer rehabilitation, pain management, and lung and gastrointestinal cancers. It also provides services for brain and breast cancers, hematology and adult sickle cell, eyes, nose and throat cancers, medical oncology, bone and soft tissue cancers, lymphedema, cancer risk assessment and surgical oncology.
