"When my husband and I finally decided that we were going to go through with filing for bankruptcy, we didn't know where to start. We looked through the yellow pages and found an attorney that was close by. We had an appointment with him which he disclosed how much his fees were going to be and how much he needed up front to start handling our case. We paid him the fee to start the process and he was to help eliminate the collection calls but it seemed like after we paid him the fee, we could never get a hold of him.
