David C. Chaikin, MD, a clinical assistant professor
of urology at the New York Hospital/Cornell Medical
Center has been practicing urology in Morristown
since 1997. Dr. Chaikin graduated Phi Beta Kappa
from the University of Illinois with a bachelor of
science in biology. Dr. Chaikin is extensively published
in the field of incontinence and reconstructive
surgery. In fact, Dr. Chaikin is one of the few in New
Jersey to have sub-specialty certification in female
reconstructive surgery. A thought leader in his field,
Dr. Chaikin lectures on the subjects of female stress
incontinence, the overactive bladder, male voiding
dysfunction and pelvic prolapse at medical meetings
around the country and abroad.
In addition to this year’s Castle Connolly
recognition, Dr. Chaikin has been named one of
“America’s Top Doctors” by Castle Connolly in the
New York metro area and has also received other
prestigious accolades.
Dr. Chaikin is a valued member of the Morristown
Urology Associates (MUA) team. For more than 50
years, MUA has been recognized as a leading urology
group in New Jersey. Morristown Urology has six
physicians and one nurse practitioner specializing in
the care of men, women, and children with conditions
affecting the urinary system. The practice performs
robotic surgery on the prostate, kidney and bladder
using the davinci robot, kidney stone surgery, no
scalpel vasectomy, vasectomy reversal, incontinence
