Founded in 1889, Leggett Elementary School serves more than 320 students in grades kindergarten through five. The school offers a wide range of subjects, including math, English, social studies, art, science, language art, health, music and physical education. It provides supplementary reading materials, parent programs, tutoring programs and supplemental math materials to the students. Leggett Elementary School also offers after-school programs that include foreign language club, intervention programs, peer mediation and conflict resolution, safety patrol, the Walk Against Violence and Students Against Violence Everywhere.
