The Breast Care Center offers prevention, diagnosis and treatment services for a range of breast diseases. It also provides educational opportunities for physicians and researchers. The center offers comprehensive, multidisciplinary care and includes four sections. The Breast Care Center provides breast cancer risk assessment and genetic testing, counseling and prevention solutions. It also practices in the fields of pathology, psychiatry, radiology, and molecular and cellular biology. The Breast Care Center occupies more than 21,000 square feet of clinic space. It is a part of the The Lester and Sue Smith Breast Center, which is an independent academic unit at Baylor College of Medicine.
