Let's Travel Together was founded in 1999 by M. Melodye Martinelli in Houston, Texas. Prior to starting the business, Melodye had spent 28 years in the corporate telecommunications industry. At age 45, she decided to sell her home in New Jersey, store her belongings and set out on a quest to "see the world" as a solo traveler, which lasted for seven years. She quickly discovered that her world travels ( now expanded to 80 countries ) were an opportunity for self discovery and an education that far exceeded her imagination.
