Lifetime Television offers entertainment and information programming and advocates a variety of issues affecting women and their families. It serves more than 85 million households throughout the United States and is available on over 11,000 cable and alternative delivery systems. Lifetime Television was created by the merger of Daytime Television and Cable Health Network. It also maintains partnerships with nearly 150 nonprofit organizations, including Stop Violence Against Women, Caring for Kids and Stop Breast Cancer for Life. In addition, Lifetime Television has launched a 24-hour sister service, Lifetime Movie Network and Lifetime Real Women network, which provides 24-hour true-to-life programming told from a woman s point of view.
