Lincoln International High School was founded in 1997 and provides a range of educational and cultural opportunities. It is a licensed charter school that serves more than 200 students in grades 8 through 12. The school bases its English-immersion approach on the theory that people acquire fluency when they use the target language in their daily lives. Its academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as English, world languages, math, social studies, science, music and computers. The school additionally provides instruction in performing arts and physical and vocational education. It involves students in a variety of extracurricular and athletic activities.
