Lincrusta, created in 1877, is an exquisite, deeply textured paintable wallcovering made from materials similar to linoleum. It was originally created by Frederick Walton as an inexpensive way to emulate the more expensive pressed plaster designs - very popular during the late Victorian era. Embossed Lincrusta comes in a variety of Dados, Friezes, Borders and Wallpaper designs.
