Founded in 1970, Logos School is an independent, alternative, therapeutic school, offering a variety of academic programs to students in grades seven through 12. The school offers a wide variety of special education programs for students suffering from depression, Asperger's syndrome, bipolar disorder, tourette syndrome, obsessive compulsive disorder and adolescent autism. It assists students in achieving academic excellence and emotional stability. The school employs licensed therapists, counselors and social workers who provide various therapeutic programs to meet the emotional and behavioral needs of students. Its services include individual counseling, conflict mediation, advocacy, crisis intervention, anger management, behavior modification, chemical dependency support education. Located in St. Louis, Logos School is accredited by the Independent Schools Association of the Central States and Illinois State Board of Education, and is a member of the Mental Health Association of Greater St. Louis.
