Los Ninos Elementary School has an enrollment of more than 600 students. It offers various programs, such as full-day kindergarten, bilingual and at-risk preschool. Located in Tucson, Ariz., the school is approved by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation. It operates a folk dance group, art club, chorus, student council and store. The school also operates a special education program that provides special instruction to students with autism, emotional disability, hearing impairment, mental retardation, orthopedic impairment, traumatic brain injury and visual impairment. Los Ninos Elementary School is a part of the Sunnyside Unified School District #12 that serves more than 16,000 students in over 20 educational institutions.
