Founded in 1991, the Louisiana Commerce & Trade Association is one of the largest providers of workers compensation coverage for a variety of industries, including wholesale, manufacturing, construction, health care services, agriculture and transportation. It is regulated by the Louisiana Department of Insurance. The Louisiana Commerce & Trade Association also offers workers compensation coverage for employees in retirement living centers and restaurants, hotels and country clubs. The association contracts with more than 300 independent agencies throughout the state of Louisiana. It supports the Philippine Information Agency and Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of Louisiana.
