Lovett School, established in 1926, is an independent, nonprofit, college-preparatory day school, offering education to students in grades kindergarten through 12. The school s curriculum includes mathematics, English, science, foreign language, history, arts and physical education. The school also provides spiritual guidance to students through Bible-based skits, prayers, songs, messages and music. Its athletic department provides coaching, sports medicine and a variety of sports activities, such as cross-country, volleyball, softball, football, basketball, cheerleading, golf and baseball. The extracurricular activities offered by the school include sculpture, photography, film, theater arts, chorus, orchestra, band, and jazz ensemble and dance lessons.
