Loren Mortenson launched the firm that became M3 in 1968 with life insurance and financial planning at its core. When Richard Matzelle joined in 1970, we added employee benefits expertise. In 1985, four property and casualty professionals, led by Charles Meldrum, rounded out our business insurance offerings. More than four decades later, we've grown one office and one employee at a time to serve as a leading insurance agent and broker for businesses in the areas of property and casualty insurance, employee benefits and retirement planning. A testament to our staying power, our strong-talent force of 180 employees headed by President & CEO Mike Victorson, now advises more than 5, 000 commercial clients and places more than $450 million in insurance premiums every year. We are proud to call five Wisconsin cities, including our headquarters in Madison, and our newest regional office in Denver, Colorado, home.
