Founded in 1911, Maimonides Medical Center formerly operated under the name of the New Utrecht Dispensary. The center is one of the leading hospitals in the United States for reversing stroke symptoms with interventional neuroradiology techniques. Based in Brooklyn, N.Y., it offers an array of services, such as radiology, vascular, orthopedic surgery/musculoskeletal, pediatrician, obstetrics, gynecology and anesthesiology. Additionally, the center has various centers, including blood donation, cancer, hyperbaric, medicine and ambulatory care.
