The Mardag Foundation, established in 1969, is a nonprofit organization that works to improve the lives of children and at-risk people. The foundation makes grants to nonprofit organizations that offer access to a variety of programs in education and art in Minnesota. It also supports community development throughout St. Paul. The Mardag Foundation provides grants in the areas of humanities, civic affairs, and health and human services. The foundation has served the Women's Resource Center, Northwoods Coalition for Family Safety and Hospice Minnesota. In addition, it offers support services to live independently for senior citizens. The Mardag Foundation is a member of the Minnesota Council on Foundations.
