My father, Edward Nacht, started his own insurance agency here in Northeast Ohio more than 40 years ago. I began working for him years ago, learned the business from the ground up and eventually took over the agency. Starting my own independent insurance agency was in a sense, a rite of passage. The most important thing I learned from my father had nothing to do with insurance. It was all about community, trust and being there for each client as their advocate – no matter what time of day or night.
