The Division of Rheumatology at the University of Michigan offers diagnosis and treatment of individuals suffering from rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases. It also offers treatment of various diseases that include arthritis, sj gren's syndrome, dermatomyositis, polymyositis, osteoarthritis, septic arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis. It operates an ambulatory care clinic that serves more than 20,000 patients annually. Additionally, its services include musculoskeletal ultrasound, pediatric rheumatology, medical consultation, laboratory testing, and muscle and salivary gland biopsy. The Division of Rheumatology also provides and experiential training in program and workshops to medical students on modern medicine. The department is located in Ann Arbor, Mich.
