Founded in 1994, Marshall Elementary School provides learning opportunities to more than 750 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school s academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as English, reading, writing, math, history, music, science and physical education. Its advisory council and parent-teacher association support various school programs. The school was named after the first African-American Supreme Court justice, Thurgood Marshall. It has a computer laboratory, cafeteria and classrooms. The school provides opportunities to students to participate in an extended day math program, science fairs, and galaxy explorers and chess clubs. Marshall Elementary School is a part of Prince William County Public Schools and is located in Manassas, Va.
